Alain showed up on his bright red motorcycle with his
African Djembe strung across his back. He was a good friend of Kent's
from Vancouver, BC, invited down to play various percussion parts throughout
the album. He is french canadian, with a fetching, lilting accent, and
is dyn-o-mite in the kitchen! We all were good cooks, but he was the
main man at the burners. And the main man at the congas, the grater,
the djembe, the bongos, the triangle...
